| BRIEF HISTORY |
PortalPeople.Net was conceptualized in the late 1999 and officially incorporated in Singapore in February 2000. The company initially started off by developing, maintaining and marketing its own B2C web portals. In the months following the company’s inception, the company decided that it was ready to embark on exploring further business avenues in the field of IT.

| OUR PROGRESSION |
In December 2000, with the small pool of dedicated developers who had previously been working on its in-house portals, the company decided to foray into developing customized web and software solutions for small, medium enterprises. The company focused mainly on developing solutions using the wide myriad of Microsoft tools and technologies for its clients. Solutions requiring the use of other tools and technologies are also implemented as and when requested by clients.
Through customer interaction and enquires, we identified that the IT needs of SMEs are under served. Becoming a turnkey IT solutions company, with focus on the SMEs, was the next thing on the horizon. In late 2001, the company became a system integrator and resellers for a range of IT products. Our aim was to assemble a stable of hardware and software products, coupled with our expertise in developing customized solutions, which we can readily utilize for deploying total solutions in our targeted markets.

There is a need to fully comprehend and analyze the requirements of our clients before any sale, work or project proceeds. We conduct exhaustive feasibility studies, analysis and planning prior to any projects. From structured network cabling to system analysis to hardware and software procurement to installation and configuration, we offer a full suite package for system integration to our clients. Our vision is to produce solutions that are manageable by cost sensitive SMEs, with flexible scalability options, for growth and short ROI periods.
